The Professional

Graduated from the Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele in Milan with the title of “Doctor of Physiotherapy”.
He completed his clinical placements at the Ospedale San Raffaele in Milan (rehabilitation gym, unit for associated cognitive and motor disorders), the Ospedale Niguarda (spinal unit) and the NEMO clinical centre (patients affected mainly by ALS).

During his bachelor's years he specialised in the treatment of neurodegenerative conditions such as multiple sclerosis, ALS, SMA, Parkinson's disease, stroke and other disorders associated with neurological damage.
Alongside his university studies he took courses in orthopaedic manual therapy and clinical reasoning, in order to develop the best possible manual skills to combine with the functional and therapeutic exercise approach learned while working with neurological patients.
His training in manual therapy has focused on the treatment of the most common musculoskeletal conditions: low back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain and the problems associated with them.
He keeps his skills up to date through the courses offered by SUPSI and specialist courses mainly on the treatment of the shoulder joint and the spine as a whole. He works with methods and techniques based on scientific evidence and treats mainly patients with musculoskeletal problems of the shoulder and of the cervical and lumbar spine, as well as complex patients such as neurological patients with chronic pain.
Since 2017 he has been following the CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies) programmes at the SUPSI University in Manno, working towards a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS).
He works as a tutor for final-year university students.
To date he has completed more than 30 single-topic professional development courses.
